Hampton wants to know how you use energy. The town has the first of multiple planned surveys up at townofhampton.ca. It asks about any efficiency upgrades you’ve done, how old your home is, how you heat it and more, and is part of the town finding out how environmentally friendly you are.

New restaurant to replace Holly’s in Hampton
Holly’s Restaurant will be replaced with another restaurant and cafe. The Match Factory Restaurant and Match Stick Café will open in the old Holly’s location, which closed in January. Management team member Brittany Martin told the Record the design will be inspired by the town’s history, and the name pays homage to an old match factory. 15-20 jobs are expected to be created.
