Applications for the 2017 Low-Income Seniors’ Benefit are now available. The $400 benefit is available to anyone who was a New Brunswick resident as of this past New Year’s Eve, and has received a federal Guaranteed Income Supplement, Allowance for Survivor Program or Allowance Program. Applications are available at Service New Brunswick and online.

5-90 CJCW and the Capital Campaign Committee have gotten together for a radiothon to raise cash for Kiwanis Nursing Home renovations.
The 5-90 CJCW radiothon is on from seven this morning until six tonight, the goal is 25 thousand dollars.
