The fishing season is underway at the E.J. Cunningham Memorial Fish Pond, in Penobsquis; just outside of Sussex.
It has a paved section near the dock made for wheelchairs to easily reach the dock.
The Sussex Fish and Game Association recently installed an accessible portable bathroom.
Down the road, they plan to add a shelter to the pond dock, and another shelter on land so that people can comfortably watch their friends and family fish.
