A tourism innovation conference was held in Moncton today as part of Innovation Week. It was presented by the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture and Centre Assomption de recherche et de développement en entrepreneuriat of l’Université de Moncton. The event provided entrepreneurs, economic stakeholders and academics an opportunity to discuss entrepreneurial and innovative success in tourism.

After heavy rains, people in the Sussex area were advised early yesterday morning that water levels had reached flood stage.
The Sussex emergency operation center was activated.
Homeowners were advised to take necessary steps to secure their homes and belongings.
Since the rain has stopped, that allowed the creeks to recede a little.
But with more rain in the forecast Sussex and area homeowners are advised to keep an eye on weather conditions.
