Salisbury booze depot

NB Liquor’s Salisbury Depot Store has reopened.

Back in January, it was shut down for renovations.

Deals include two 24-packs of beer for 60 dollars, that’s a dollar-25 per can.

The Depot is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday to Saturday, and 10 til 5 on Sunday.

Dieppe machete attack

26 year old Steven Cochrane of Riverview and 19 year old Brogan Black from Hopewell Cape, have been charged with aggravated assault after a man was allegedly attacked with a machete while in the Paul Street McDonald’s in Dieppe drive-thru early Tuesday morning.

Cochrane and Black will have their bail hearing today.

Drake Shields, the 20-something victim; was, in the words of the Codiac Regional RCMP; “cut pretty good.”

Shields has since been treated and released.
