RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a 90-year-old man was reported missing in South Eastern New Brunswick. Herbert Carter, of Killam Mills, was last seen in the area of Monteagle Road, near Salisbury, on Tuesday. Anyone who may have seen Mr. Carter or his vehicle is asked to contact the RCMP. Carter is described as having greyish-white hair, blue eyes and a medium build. His car is described as a green 2005 Ford Taurus with the New Brunswick licence plate GPK 277.

Four Homeless after Fire in Hartland, NB
The Canadian Red Cross says four people were displaced by a fire yesterday in their wood-frame house in Hartland, New Brunswick. Disaster volunteers from the Canadian Red Cross have arranged emergency lodging plus food and clothing purchases for a couple and two adult children in their 20s. The relief agency says there were no injuries from the mid-morning fire at 39 Hillcrest Avenue.
