A fire broke out at the Victoria Health Centre in Fredericton on Friday. The CBC reports the fire broke out around 12:20pm. It’s believed construction workers using a torch accidently caused the fire inside a wall – sending smoke throughout the building. The building was evacuated and no one was hurt as firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.

Moncton Fire Leaves Ten Homeless
A fire in Moncton on Thursday night left ten people homeless and sent one person to hospital for treatment. The duplex in Irishtown suffered extensive damage to one side and smoke damage to the other. Investigators remained on the scene yesterday and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
