Provincial lobbyists are reminded that they must register by July 1st. The Lobbyist Registration Act took effect Saturday, and failure to register or renew and provide accurate and complete information, or making false and misleading statements will result in monetary penalties. Registration applies to people spending or intending to spend at least 20% of their time lobbying in a three-month period.

Man arrested for credit union robbery
A man has been arrested after Friday’s robbery at the Bayview Credit Union on Loch Lomond Road. The 57-year-old was taken in later that night, but police aren’t providing other details at this time.
