NHL playoffs…the Senators beat the Rangers 2-1 in the first game of their eastern semi-final. Sidney Crosby scored twice to lead his Penguins past the Capitals 3-2 in the opener of their series.
The Raptors finished off the Bucks 92-89 to advance to the NBA’s Eastern Conference semifinals.
In baseball….the Blue Jays lost both ends of a double-header in St. Louis. The Cardinals won the afternoon game 8-4 in 11 innings then the nightcap 6-4. Yankees blanked Boston 3-0.
The province has released a report on improving access to primary and acute care. Stemming from the stakeholder engagement process to develop the New Brunswick Family Plan, its main initiatives are a new approach to family medicine, integrated and coordinated healthcare services, and collaborating to ensure people are cared for appropriately in an appropriate setting.
