Day of Mourning
Ceremonies are being held all over the province as part of today’s National Day of Mourning. 16 New Brunswickers died as a result of their job last year, with about 10,500 injured. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the Westray coal mine explosion in Nova Scotia, which killed 26 miners.
