Premier Brian Gallant will be heading to Washington, DC in early June to lobby for free trade. Gallant will join a delegation of premiers that includes PEI’s Wade MacLauchlan , Ontario’s Kathleen Wynne and Manitoba’s Brian Pallister. The group is scheduled to meet with US trade officials and members of congress on June 7th and 8th to promote the mutual benefits of trade between the two countries.

Uptown Saint John Windows Smashed with Hammer
Police are investigating after and uptown Saint John business and an apartment building had windows smashed by vandals on Friday morning. Police tell CBC security camera footage showed someone smashing the windows at the Feel Good Store on Germain Street and the Abbey St. Andrew apartment building on Charlotte St with a hammer. Other windows in the uptown area have had windows smashed in the past few years. Saint John police are investigating the incidents but no arrests have been made.
