New Brunswick’s unemployment rate went down in November. We’re now at 8.7% instead of 10% in October, but Stats Can says 4700 people left the workforce. The province added 500 jobs, all full-time. By region, Campbellton-Miramichi was at 14% unemployment, Moncton-Richibucto 7.9%, Saint John-St. Stephen 6.7%, Fredericton-Oromocto 5.7% and Edmunston-Woodstock 5%.

45 Million for Fundy Trail
The Fundy Trail Parkway in New Brunswick is getting an upgrade.
The New Brunswick and federal governments say they will spend more than 45-million dollars to improve the roadway and its trails.
The 19-kilometre Fundy Trail takes visitors to scenic vistas, beaches and waterfalls overlooking the Bay of Fundy.
