Three people have now been charged after two holdups at Petro-Can stations on either side of the harbour earlier this week.
24 year old Kristine Marcia Morin is charged with robbing the Petro-Can on Victoria Road Wednesday morning. A search of a residence on Pinecrest Drive turned up a weapon and resulted in the arrest of a 17 year old boy.
32 year old Johnathan David Hill has been charged with the gas station holdup Wednesday afternoon on Quinpool Road.
A Toronto pastor took the stand in his own defence yesterday in court in Kentville to deny the allegations against him.
Brent Hawkes said “it did not happen”. He testified he remembered the complainant and two other teens bringing a bottle of moonshine to his trailer in Greenwood on the night in question in the mid-’70s…but he categorically denied performing sexual acts. He denied serving alcohol and said there was no sexual activity.
