Randall Steven Shepherd has pleaded guilty to his role in a planned 2015 massacre at the Halifax Shopping Centre. The 22-year-old was given ten years, with credit for time served. Co-accused Lindsay Kanitha Souvannarath will be tried next year, another accused committed suicide before being arrested.

Another bank holdup
There’s been another bank holdup.
A masked man with a gun walked into the Scotiabank on Main Street North around 11:30 yesterday morning. He got some cash and fled. Nobody was hurt.
That was the sixth bank robbery in Saint John this year…and the second this month. There were only two bank robberies in all last year.
