CB Transition House Foundation kicking off “empowered luncheons”

Tomorrow, The Cape Breton Transition House Foundation will kick off a series of empowered luncheons at Flavor 19, all in support of women and children in our community.

As the Cape Breton Transition House Foundation celebrates their 30th anniversary year, there will be a list of new events that will serve as reminders of the importance of the Transition House and a way to thank current and past donors and supporters of the house.

The Cape Breton Transition House is an 18 bed, two crib, emergency shelter and serves as a safe haven for women and their children. In 2016, more than 100 women and 50 children relied on the house to escape unsafe or abusive home situations.
