Police are investigating a home invasion on the east side.
A 67 year old man answered a knock at the door of his house on Garnette Road Thursday afternoon…and five masked men barged in, told him to stand in the kitchen and they ransacked the place and left with some items. The victim wasn’t injured. Major Crime unit is investigating.
Beginning on January 1st, 2017, the City of Moncton will be conducting a pilot project to remove the overnight winter parking ban (midnight to 7 a.m.) in the downtown area when conditions warrant.
The decision to lift the ban will be based on planned snow clearing activities and forecast weather.
The pilot project will cover the area from King Street to Vaughan Harvey Boulevard (east to west) and from St. George Street to Assomption Boulevard (north to south).
