A 28 year old Sydney man will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to a robbery in court.
James Anthony MacDonald, of Whitney Avenue, admitted to robbing a Sydney convenience store last November while wearing a mask. He remains in custody with sentencing set for February 22nd.

A salvage team couldn’t pull it off the sandy bottom at high tide last night because they couldn’t remove enough ballast water to increase the Arca 1’s bouyancy. The Coast Guard says it continues to monitor the situation, and there has been no sign of pollution. The tanker is carrying 15 tons of fuel for its engines.
