The CBU Faculty Association will meet today to discuss their next move in the contract dispute with the university.
The association has set up a strike headquarters across the street from the campus, but hasn’t given the required 48 hours strike notice yet.
The negitiations are hung up on the layoff clause.
The Mayor and Council will hold a special meeting next Friday to listen to pitches from local organizations and stakeholder groups during their budget deliberations. That’ll be January 20 at Council Chambers beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Organizations and community groups must pre-register by contacting the Clerk’s Office by Tuesday, January 17 at 4:00 p.m. Online surveys for residents will begin next week on what you would like to see in the city budget.
