A New Glasgow doctor is allowed to practice again after having his license suspended for voyeurism. Dr. Rafid Al-Nassar was charged in November for allegedly secretly recording a woman in his clinic’s washroom. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia says he must now have a chaperone while with patients (outside the OR), and a sign about this has to be up in waiting and exam rooms.

Damage to salmon pen in Shelburne Harbour being investigated
The province is looking into post-storm damage to a site in Shelburne Harbour this month. A company reported damage to one of its pens, and it’s believed some of the salmon were released from it. Contact the Department of Environment to report concern about an aquaculture site.
