The ER at the All Saints Springhill Emergency Centre will be closed four times this week due to a doctor shortage.
The 8am to 8 pm closures will be on Tuesday, and then again; Thursday through Sunday.
Overnight coverage will still be available.

Amherst money-saving move
Amherst is dialing it down when it comes to councilors going to national meetings.
The maximum number of councilors that go, will be three.
Mayor Dr. David Kogon says that will save about 9 thousand dollars, regarding the yearly Federation of Canadian Municipalities meetings.
This year’s conference will be in Ottawa.
