The province is putting money into the next round of upgrades at Queen Elizabeth Park. $97,600 is to be matched by the city, with the money going toward a new downtown wifi system and wireless sound system, landscaping, benches, picnic tables, interpretive signage and more.

Domestic assault
A 56 year old man is in court today after a domestic assault in the north end last night.
Police were called a little after 7:30 about an assault and arrested a suspect who is looking at varous charges including assaults, forcible confinement and obstructing police.
