The Kiwanis Club has made a $5000 donation to the Crosswinds Centre. The non-profit organization supports adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, and the money will help buy it a new van. The current vehicle is over a decade old, and the new one will also be able to accommodate more passengers.

St. Martins covered bridge back open to heavy traffic
The Vaughan Creek covered bridge in St. Martins is back open to heavy traffic. It was restricted to 18 tonnes after it failed inspection a couple of weeks ago, and tour bus passengers were taken on foot among other concessions. The bridge is now fixed and things are back to normal.
