No disease found in dead fish from Shelburne Harbour site
The province continues to monitor the situation at a damaged aquaculture site in Shelburne Harbour. It’s experienced a higher than expected rate of fish deaths since the February 15th storm. The Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture took samples of them as a precaution, with no reportable disease found. The site’s dead fish won’t enter the human food supply.
