Halifax Water crews are doing sewer system maintenance tomorrow morning near Wright and Ilsley avenues in Burnside. It’ll start at 9 and be done around noon weather permitting, with the lights at said intersection being out during that time. There will be stop-and-go traffic in lieu.

Valley man facing impaired driving after avoiding Bible Hill checkstop
A man faces charges after trying to avoid a police checkstop in Bible Hill. RCMP were doing it overnight Saturday on Main Street when a vehicle came at them fast, hit the concrete centre support of the overpass and took off. It eventually went off the road and the 44-year-old driver was treated in hospital. The Valley resident faces impaired driving and other charges.
