The province wants stakeholder feedback on key elements of a new a cap-and-trade program. A discussion paper outlining considered principles and key design features is available at climatechange.novascotia.ca. The feedback will be used to develop Nova Scotia’s program and governing regulations.

Arrest made in multiple robberies
Police have now charged a man in relation to seven robberies that occurred over the last month, one in Dartmouth and six in Halifax.
Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged Anthony James Guitard with five counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery. Guitard is in Halifax Provincial Court today to face these charges.
