Today, Sears Canada will start a liquidation sale at stores in Bathurst; Saint John, and 57 other locations it plans to shut down.
Bathurst will lose eight full-time jobs and 38 part-time positions with the closure.

87-year-old Francine Foulem, a Beresford grandmother of 13; recently had her first sky-diving experience.
Following her doctor’s approval, she jumped from an aircraft that was 3 kilometers high in the air on Sunday; to celebrate her belated 87th birthday.
She did the jump near Moncton.
