The reward for information on the disappearance of Jami Springer is now at $12,000. The Times & Transcript reports another $2000 has been offered by Fredericton’s Jason Munn, who’s a former colleague of Springer’s mother. That brings the total to $12,000 for help finding the 28-year-old Moncton woman, who was reported missing September 4th.

Union leader, activist Doug Kingston passes away
Longtime New Brunswick union leader and activist Doug Kingston has died. The 66-year-old passed last week, and retired last year after involvement with the New Brunswick Council of Hospital Unions, among other accomplishments, for several decades. Visitation is tonight from 7-9 and tomorrow from 2-3 at Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton, with the service at the chapel after tomorrow’s visitation.
