The amount of flu cases is going up in New Brunswick, but deaths have gone down. Acting Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell says we’ve had 173 hospitalized cases this season, with seven deaths. 2015-16 had 243 people hospitalized, with 18 deaths. This season has seen 634 total flu cases.

Police need help with several truck thefts
Codiac Regional RCMP are asking for the public’s help in investigating a series of truck thefts.
Twelve pickup trucks were stolen from the greater Moncton region between September 1, 2016 and February 1, 2017. The stolen trucks were Chevrolet, GMC, Ford and Dodge makes with model years running from 1997 to 2014. Both gas and diesel models were targeted.
