Campbellton booze case to go before Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of Canada will weigh in on the case of cross-border alcohol limits.  A provincial court tossed out charges against Gerard Comeau of Tracadie after he was caught coming back from Quebec with more than the 12 out-of-province pints New Brunswick allows.  The Supreme Court has granted the Gallant government’s application for leave to appeal.

CAA’s Worst Roads in Atlantic Canada revealed

Atlantic Canadians have identified the top 10 Worst Roads in the region.  CAA’s annual campaign saw more than 7000 votes cast.  Four New Brunswick roads made the list: Pine Glen Road in Riverview at No. 2, Dawson Road in Hillsborough at No. 5, Route 105 in Upper Kent at No. 6, and Route 616 in Keswick Ridge at No. 9.  Mountain Road in Christmas Island/Eskasoni, NS was No. 1.
