Last Tuesday’s strip mall fire in Saint-Antoine is still being investigated. The evening blaze took out the village’s only grocery store, Tim Hortons and other shops. The Times & Transcript reports Your Independent Grocer is set to reopen in a week.

Provincial funding for downtown Dieppe beautification
$150,000 in provincial funding has been announced for beautification projects in downtown Dieppe. They include an artistic restoration of the stairs connecting city hall and Place 1604, installing a decorative concrete bench and 150th anniversary banner, and enhancing Allée du Patrimoine.
