The Sisson Mine now has federal environmental assessment approval. This comes after the provincial environmental impact assessment approval, and accommodation agreement with First Nations. The proposed mine would create 500 jobs during construction, and another 300 after.

Food truck owner ticketed by Dieppe at apparent private airport event
A food truck owner is battling the City of Dieppe after being fined for doing business at the airport. Farmers’ Truck’s Fred Laforge told the Times & Transcript he was there last Thursday for an employee wellness event, and in fact was hired by the airport to go there twice a month through September. He was apparently ticketed for not having a licence, but says it was a private event.
