New Brunswick unemployment went unchanged in February. The 8.9% mark is the same as January, with the province only ahead of Newfoundland and Labrador and PEI. Stats Can says the national rate went down 0.2% to 6.6%.

Moose Killer Sentenced
A St-Quentin man got a week in jail for hunting moose out of season. 24-year-old Billy Theriault admitted to the October 2014 incident, and was also fined $1200. He can serve his jail time on weekends.
