The province has hired a full-time employee to deal with twinning Route 11. The Leader reports they’ll determine if there’s a good case to do the highway all the way up to Miramichi. 21 kilometres between the Shediac River and McKees Mills will be twinned for sure, as well as creating a Glenwood-Miramichi bypass.

Blood Donor Services Cut in Campbellton and Dalhousie
Canadian Blood Services won’t hold donor clinics in Campbellton and Dalhousie past May 17th. The Tribune reports the agency says it’s not getting enough donors to make it worth it. The closest mobile clinic would be Bathurst.
