An Atlantic Institution institute has died in custody.

Correctional Services says Guy Langlois was found Monday afternoon. The 38 year old had been serving time for second degree murder since 2000.

A Miramichi family of three is okay after an early morning house on Sutton Road.  The fire department referred the mother and two kids to Big Hearts, Small City for help.  The department also saved the family cat with the help of its new pet co2 device.
