This long weekend, Kouchibouguac National Park kicks off its 2017 peak season.
Campgrounds and other features are expecting huge crowds due to free Parks Canada passes, in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday.
A 2017 visitor information guide can be downloaded from the park’s website.
Tomorrow, at the Rodd Miramichi from 9 in the morning until one in the afternoon; the Miramichi Kinsmen Centre will have an info session about the Miramichi Community Project Fund.
This allows people to team up with service clubs and/or non profit organizations and propose community projects to be voted on by the public.
