A 41-year-old man from West River has been arrested in connection with a shooting of a residence in Albert Mines. In the early morning hours Thursday, Riverview RCMP responded to a report that several bullets had struck a residence on Albert Mines Road. No one was injured. Around 9 p.m., a man from West River was arrested in Alma in connection with the shooting. Police believe this to have been an isolated incident.

Gallant Trip to Build Connections
Premier Brian Gallant is travelling to meetings in Toronto and Washington next month. He’ll promote New Brunswick’s trade relationship with America and build connections with other North American leaders. The Southeastern United States-Canadian Provinces Alliance is June 4th-6th in Toronto, while the Council of the Federation mission to Washington is June 6th-8th.
