The Anglophone North School District says it will have a shortfall for next year’s budget of 685 thousand dollars.
That’s because they have 54 very high-need students that they have to provide educational assistants support to.

NB fraud totals
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre says that close to $1 million has been lost so far this year to scams across New Brunswick.
They are either service scams which take the form of phone calls supposedly from well-known computer companies who claim that the victim’s computer has been infected with a virus.
The scammer will then offer to clean their computer for a fee.
There are also romantic scams, which take the form of a supposed long-distance love affair in which one partner will request a transfer of money.
