A swimming hole at Reservoir Park in Wolfville was closed yesterday due to a high amoung of coliform. Town staff are working on it and there will be no swimming allowed until further notice. The next water sampling is set for Monday.

Woman sentenced for defrauding Community Services
A Kentville woman has been sentenced for defrauding the Department of Community Services. 38-year-old Amanda Lee Mahaney had initially pleaded not guilty, but changed her plea this week. She was fined $520 for the incident, which happened around four years ago.
