New productions approved

Two new productions are getting money through the province’s Film and TV fund.  TV miniseries Cinema 902, produced by Winter Light Productions, is getting $243,000 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $760,000.  Documentary The Halifax Explosion: 100 Years After, produced by Ocean Magic TV, is getting $78,590 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of $271,000.

Funding announced for Digby County Connector Program

The province has announced $100,000 in funding to expand the Connector Program in Digby County.  It’s a networking initiative that helps local businesses and organizations connect with new graduates, immigrants, and international students interested in starting and growing their career in Nova Scotia.
