Kings County internet project

An application for funding by federal taxpayer’s has been made by i-Valley on behalf of Kings County could bring Internet connectivity to most people who are presently without service.

The $500 million program from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada will provide up to 75 per cent of the capital funding to eligible communities to provide new and upgraded backbone and last-mile Internet networks to rural and remote communities, according to the Kings County News.

Windsor GoFundMe campaign

Jordan Munroe of Windsor recently bought a used vehicle for 24 hundred dollars from a private seller in Bridgewater.

Just a few hours later, the vehicle caught fire on the 101 near Windsor; it was a total write-off.

Now her aunt, Lori Skipper; has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise enough money to see her niece reimbursed.

So far, about $840 had been raised.
