According to the President of the Treasury Board and MP for Kings-Hants, Scott Brison; federal funding for the proposed arena and hockey heritage project, has not yet been finalized.
It could be built at the Hants County Exhibition Grounds in Windsor, the original location proposal is at Long Pond; but that location would require infrastructure upgrades, while the exhibition grounds already has water and sewer lines available.
Brison added that there’s no guarantee of federal funding until the two municipality’s decide on how they want to proceed.
