Crab dinners, axe-throwing, free concerts and a fiddling ceremony are just some activities set for ports across Nova Scotia during Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta. They’ll visit the province between June 30th and August 16th with stops in Sydney, Louisbourg, St. Peter’s, Port Hawkesbury, Pictou, Pugwash, Halifax, Lunenburg, Shelburne, and Digby.

Sexual Violence Strategy funding
24 Nova Scotian community groups are getting more than $630,000 in Prevention Innovation Grants through the Sexual Violence Strategy. The province also launched a new free online training course on sexual violence, including how to respond to and support a survivor. It’s available on the Department of Community Services website.
