A Shelburne woman says town councillor Rick Davis should step down after accusing her of “playing the race card”.
Louise Delisle is part of a group that believes an old dump caused devastating health effects to the local black population. Davis posted on a Facebook page that she was playing the race card. He’s since apologized and Mayor Karen Mattatall says his comments don’t reflect the town’s position.
