The Health Authority wants to expand its Hospice Palliative Care Team in the Annapolis Valley to include volunteers. Adults with good communication skills, a caring attitude and physical and mental fitness are sought for things like listening, reading and other gestures with patients. An info session will be held May 11th at 7pm at Kings Riverside Court in Kentville.

NS Liberals appear to inadvertently leak May 30th election
The McNeil Liberals have appeared to accidentally reveal an election date. The party’s website and YouTube page briefly had a respective picture and video saying “On May 30th, vote Liberal.” That would infer a weekend election call, as has been speculated.
