Police in Halifax say they’ve identified a man who approached a girl on a downtown street last week and asked if he could take her picture. Investigators say the girl was with some other students and a teacher, and that the man drove away when she refused his request for a photograph. While the man has now been identified, there’s no word from police whether any charges are pending

RCMP say a three day search of a property in Lunenburg turned up 110 pounds of marijuana along with meth pills, hash oil, and the marijuana derivative drug ‘shatter’. The search of the 22-acre property on Wilbur Hill Road began at 8pm Wednesday and continued until Friday. RCMP say two sophisticated marijuana grow operations were found on the property and 60 mature plants were also seized along with cash and other drug paraphernalia. 45-year-old Johnathan Christopeher Hatt and 46-year-old Mary Reieffe-Hatt of MArtin’s River were arrested at the scene and face numerous charges for possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
