Police need your help locating a missing Round Hill girl. 16-year-old Miranda Young went missing from a Mill Road address, and may also have been in Halifax. She’s white, 5’2″ and 134 pounds with long blonde hair, brown eyes and a pierced lower lip. Foul play is not suspected, but there’s concern for her safety.
Bridgetown Regional High School’s Me to We and community group Stand Up are having a silent walk next Monday. It’s to celebrate and show support for diversity in Nova Scotia, and you’re welcome to join. Meet at Jubilee Park before 4 that afternoon, with a barbecue lunch and a performance by the Joseph Bezanson Trio afterwards. All proceeds are going to the area’s new refugee family.
