The Progressive Conservatives would invest $1.8 million a year for at-home cancer medications. A Jamie Baillie government wants to ensure the gap for their coverage is closed, as at-home treatments aren’t covered. It would be available to all Nova Scotians, regardless of insurance status or income level.

Yarmouth incident
41 year old David Lloyd Gordon Benjamin of Yarmouth County is up on 34 charges after being nabbed following a heavy police presence on Tinkam Road this past Friday.
Most of the charges Benjamin faces are firearms related, but also include counts of assault; sexual assault and unlawful confinement.
He remains in custody, and will be back in court tomorrow (Thursday, May 18), for a showcause hearing.
