A Waterville home suffered extensive damage in a fire this afternoon. It broke out around noon on Waterville Mountain Road, but no one was there at the time.

At least 12 opioid-related deaths in NS this year so far
At least 12 Nova Scotians have fatally overdosed on opioids this year. The health department says that was between January and April, with another seven deaths considered probable to have had those drugs involved. CBC reports none involved illegal fentanyl.
