Recently, the Yarmouth Consolidated Memorial High School Grade 9 and 10 students got rid of 4,300 pounds of trash along the Cleveland Road.
The weight breakdown was as follows: 3,700 lbs of metal, 620 lbs of garbage; 21 tires, 6 tv’s; and 1 speaker.

Halifax visit
The Defence Minister will be in Halifax today to release details of a new resource centre to make the transition from military to civilian life easier.
1,200 personnel in the transition group will support members nearing retirement as werll as those who have to leave the military due to physical and psychological injuries.
