Toddler Struck by Vehicle in Dartmouth

A driver was ticketed after a three-year-old child was struck by a vehicle in Dartmouth on Saturday morning. Police say a family was in a marked crosswalk at Thistle Street and Wyse Road when a driver failed to stop around 11:15am and struck the child. The child was not seriously injured – paramedics were able to check and clear the toddler at the scene.

Police Raid Biker Club in New Glasgow

Police raided a high profile biker club in New Glasgow on Saturday. The search warrant was executed at the Gatekeepers club on MacLean Street around 6am. The action was a joint operation involving the New Glasgow and Stellarton Police and the RCMP. In a release, the RCMP say the warrant was executed to gather evidence as part of an ongoing investigation.
